Available to full-time undergraduate students of Māori descent studying
business or information technology at a wananga, polytechnic or university in
New Zealand. Applicants must provide a two-page essay detailing
their marae/hapu/community involvement and what it means to have
connections to their marae/hapu/community. Priority will be given to applicants
with exceptional leadership qualities, academic ability and demonstrated
financial need. Successful candidates will be expected to work in a New Zealand office of EDS during the term of their award.

Applicants must have participated in or be actively involved in interests that benefit Māori groups, the Māori community and/or the general community. Available to Māori students committed to achieving one of the qualifications on offer by the Raffles Design Institute (see application form for details). Applicants must be an active member on their and/or a local Marae and are required to submit an essay (500-1000 words) outlining their career goals and how they intend to use their qualification to contribute to their community/Marae. Preference given to those with Te Reo skills. These scholarships are for courses beginning in July 2009.
